"Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out?" — Holy Qur'an 6:122

:: Post No. 1: The Spiritual Power of the Holy Imam ::

Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad! This post has three parts.

1. Knowledge Section;
2. The Ismaili Shahada; and
3. Angelic Salwat Dhikr.

Part 1: Teaching of al-Muayyyad fid-Din al-Shirazi

Here is an excerpt from Lecture 16, The Maintainer of Our Souls, from the book titled 'Life and Lectures of the Grand Missionary Al-Muayyad-Fid-Din Al-Shirazi' (p.115)::

"Every prophet in his age and every Imam of the time does his best to lift up the people spiritually by the strength of his knowledge and makes them firm and steady in their faith by the force of his will. Every learned divine tries to help the people in flying upwards according to the power of his knowledge.

Physical power has its limitation but there is no limitation to the spiritual power. Physically if one were to lift up something which is equal to his own weight or double his weight he is said to have performed a great physical feat. Spiritually, one Prophet or one Imam can lift up the whole world."

Part 2: The Ismaili Shahada

In the second part of our Holy Dua, we recite the Ismaili Shahada as follows:

"La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur-Rasoolullah, 'Aliyyun Amirul-Mu'mineen 'Aliyullah
Mawlana Shah Rahim ul Hussaini, Al-Imamul Hazarul Maujood."

"There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, 'Ali - the master of believers - is from Allah. Our Lord Shah Rahim Al-Hussaini is our present and living Imam"

Let us first recite the Ismaili Shahada to feel the presence of Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam and then use this energy to recite the Angleic Salwat!

Part 3. Angelic Salwat
Let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace and mercy.
