"And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light." — Holy Qur'an 57:19

Our Mission:

The word 'Salman' is derived from the word 'As-Salaam'. Salaam means peace and is one of the attributive names of God. When the word Salaam is used for human beings, it literally means soundness of body and soul which is obtained through special spiritual and intellectual help which is given to the Prophets and faithful followers of God. The vision of SalmanSpiritual.Com is captured in its motto: "Towards the Inner Vision of the Truth" and is beautifully amplified in the following prayer:

O God! O our Master! You are eternal life and everlasting peace by Your essence and attributes. The everlasting peace is from You and it returns to You. O our Sustainer! Grant us the life of true peace and usher us into the abode of peace. O Glorious and Bounteous One! You are blessed and sublime.

SalmanSpiritual.Com is committed to promote and advance the development of spiritual and intellectual potential of human beings which leads to the inner vision of the Truth within oneself. We think that human beings have to first make peace with God within themselves and then extend this everlasting peace to their fellow human beings.

Orientation of the Site:

This site focuses on the Alid tradition of a thinking and spiritual Islam: an Islam which leads to the development of the human soul to its highest levels as described His Highness Aga Khan III:

"Islamic doctrine goes farther than the other great religions for it proclaims the presence of the soul, perhaps minute but nevertheless existing in an embryonic state in all existence in matter, in animals, trees, and space itself. Every individual, every molecule, every atom has its own spiritual relationship with the All-Powerful Soul of God. But men and women, being more highly developed, are immensely more advanced than the infinite number of other beings known to us. Islam acknowledges the existence of angels, of great souls who have developed themselves to the highest possible planes of human soul and higher, and who are centres of forces which are scattered throughout the universe. Without going as far as Christianity, Islam recognizes the existence of evil spirits which seek by means of their secret suggestions to turn us from good, from that strait way traced by God's finger for the eternal happiness of the humblest as of the greatest -- Abraham, Jesus, Mohammed."

The content of the website has been developed from published resources which are in the public domain. Full citations are given to stimulate further thought. The author's research focuses on the development of soul and its enlightenment within oneself. My language skills are limited to English and rudimentary Gujarati, therefore I have relied on the English translations of major works for developing the content of my website.

Let us pray for the fruition of the following verse of the Holy Qur'an (057.028):

O ye that believe! Fear God, and believe in His Apostle, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Our motto is:
"Towards the Inner Vision of the Truth"
