Golden Jubilee Darbar in Dubai and Golden Noorani Didar in our Foreheads
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 to Friday, March 21, 2008

Spark No. 9 :: Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad. I have articulated this project for Navroz 2008 to increase yearning for the Holy Didar of our beloved Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam. The ten postings for this project have the following components: (1) a prayer card for the well being and health our most beloved NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam and his family, the upliftment the global Jamat, global Muslim community, and humanity at large, and the salvation of all departed souls; (2) knowledge about Giryah-u zari; (3) 5-verses of Moti Venti presented sequentially; and (4) angelic salwat. On the most auspicious occasion of the upcoming Idd-e-Navroz of this momentous Golden Jubilee year, may the rays of the Light of our beloved NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam enrich and empower each and every being in different spheres of existence in innumerable ways. Ameen.

Part 1: Prayer Card for the Well-being and Health of the Whole Noorani Family

Let us first declare our noble intentions and then invoke the angelic salwat for exoteric and esoteric purposes:

Ya Ali, Ya NOOR Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam, we pray for:

  1. The well being and health of the whole NOORANI family;
  2. Protection from the elements of dross and darkness;
  3. Sunshine in hearts, Light in our foreheads and the blessing of the inner vision of the Truth;
  4. Mushkil Aasan and material, spiritual & intellectual upliftment of the global Jamat, the global Muslim community and humanity at large;
  5. Salvation of all departed souls;
  6. Empowerment of our children with the correct understanding of our holy faith; and
  7. External and internal peace for the whole humanity.

Part 2: Knowledge Component:

The Ultimate Purpose of Giryah-u zâri: The ultimate purpose of giryah-u zâri is tied first to the purification of the soul and creation of humility, followed by the manifestation of higher spirituality within the personal world which empowers the mu'min to use the positive spiritual and luminous energy to serve humanity. However, certain conditions must be met and are described in the following paragraphs:

"...Giryah-u zâri washes out and rinses out the human heart (consciousness) so that the holy spirit (Ruh-u Quddus) may use it. And it the holy spirit (Noor of the holy, present and living Imam) which embodies all the miracles of spiritualism. Here the word 'holy' represents the utmost purity and alludes that mu'mins should keep themselves pure from all kinds of dirt and impurity and they should also be aware that the holy spirit flees from those who have cordial friendship with the opponents of the Imam." [Source: Studies in Dream and Spiritualism, p.24]

"...The mu'mins dedicate themselves to the obedience and love of the Imam of the time. As a result first they begin to experience the miracle of the joy in dhikr-u ibadat and then the miracle of giryah-u zâri; thereby gradually they become purified spiritually. Their inner eye opens and they are able to see the (intermediate and higher) miracles in their order and sequence and bear their burden." [Source: Studies in Dream and Spiritualism, p.23]

Please also note the tight connections between bandagi, giryah-u zâri, purification, entry of the holy spirit and empowerment of the personal world. This is the process to present a spiritual and a luminous nazrana to our beloved Holy Imam during his Golden Jubilee year. Now let us read and learn more about submission and humility from the supplication verses from Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Moti Venti.

Part 3: Recitation of Selected Verses from Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Moti Venti for Day 9:

0 Lord, Bless me with (spiritual) union
so that I can bear the burden of innumerable souls.
Imperfect, perfect and even hopeful souls who come to Thee,
0 Lord, grant them all salvation.
Have mercy on me, my Lord.
I am helpless and dependent on you.

Part 4: Angelic Salwat

"It is mentioned in verse (33:33): "O you the people of the house (of the Prophet)! Verily Allah intends but to keep off from you (every kind of) uncleanness and purify you with a thorough purification." By the people of the house or ahl-i bayt are meant the holy Prophet himself, Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Fatimah, Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Husayn. (Muslim, IV, 1883; Tirmidhi, V, 663)" [Source: Tawil 144: A Thousand Wisdoms]

Now let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace, mercy and internal purification.
