Gems from Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Moti Venti and NOOR Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.)'s Nahjul Balagha (1)

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad! This post for the first day of Baitul Khayal Satado has two gems of knowledge: a verse from Moti Venti and a saying of NOOR Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.).

Part 1: Teaching of Pir Hasan Kabirdin
Let us begin with the first verse of Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Moti Venti which describes the origin of our soul and its relationship to its creator.

Eji Âdam âd niri(n)jan
nargun âpê arup
asal amârâ sâmi tamê
judâ padiyâ thai rup

mahêr karo morâ sâ(n)hiyâ
abarâ sharan tamâri
1
0 Lord, In the beginning, You were Unseen (Niranjan),
Attributeless (Nargun) and Formless (Arup).
0 Master, from Thee alone is my origin.
By taking a physical form, I have been separated from Thee.

Have mercy on me, my Lord.
I am helpless and dependent on you.

Part 2: Saying of NOOR Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.)
Allah teaches us about our origin through the following Qur'anic Ayat "'Innaa lillaahi wa- 'innaaa 'ilayhi raaji-'uunn" (Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning) (Surah 2, Ayat 156)1. This verse also affirms that we are Allah's creations and to Him is our return as described by NOOR Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.)2:

"Hazrat heard somebody repeating the passage of the Holy Quran "We belong to God and our return is towards Him", Hazrat said, "How true it is. Our saying that we belong to God indicates we accept Him as our Master, Owner and Lord. And when we say our return is towards God indicates that we accept our mortality.""
