Transliteration and Literal Translation of Verses of Supplication (Venti) from Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Anant Akhado
For this project, I have presented 40 verses of supplication (venti) from Anant Akhado and have prepared a 10-day program to sing these verses. Please click on the links to see the transliteration and the translation of verses which will be recited on a particular day. On the output page, you will get the verses for the day with translation. If you need to print any of the outputs, just click on the 'printer friendly format' hyperlink which is located towards the bottom of the page. The 'all verses' hyperlink listed below is an option to print all the verses.
For research purposes, we have created a search utility for the transliteration for all the 500 verses. Just type in a word without the diacritical marks and/or brackets, and you will get the results. For example, the word 'shah' will get you the results with the words containing 'shâh'; 'Harichandhra' will search for 'Haricha(n)dhra'. A separate utility has also been created for the translation for all the 500 verses.
