Prayer Card No. 37: Hasbuna'llâhu Wa Nima'l-Wakil and Pir-Shâh Tasbis

Ya Ali Madad. Let us first declare our noble intentions and then say the prayers.

Ya NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam, we pray for:

  1. The well being of the NOORANI Family
  2. Mushkil Asaan for the global Jamat
  3. Material, spiritual & intellectual upliftment of the global Jamat
  4. Salvation of all departed souls
  5. Peace for the whole humanity
  6. (Please add your personal list here, if you wish)

The prayer 'Hasbuna'llâhu Wa Nima'l-Wakil' is part of Surah 3, Ayat 173. In order to understand the context of this prayer which was recited by devoted belivers (Mu'mins), let us first read the following ayats from the Holy Qur'an translated by S. V. Mir Ahmed Ali:

"(As far) those who did respond to the call of God and the Apostle (Muhammad) (even) after wounds inflicted on them; such of those who do good (to others) and guard (themselves) against evil, shall have a great reward." (3:172)

"Those unto whom said the people, "Verily have the people mustered (strong) against you, therefore fear them!" It only increased their faith; and said they, "God is (quite) sufficient for us and the most excellent Protector is (He) (Hasbuna'llâhu Wa Nima'l-Wakil)." (3:173)

"They returned, therefore, with favour from God and (His) Grace. Without any evil even touching them and they followed the pleasure of God; and God is the Lord of Mighty Grace." (3:174)"

For today's session, let us use a bouquet of Hasbuna'llâhu Wa Nima'l-Wakil and Pir-Shâh tasbis to call on our Lord for strength and protection under all circumstances. By this blessed prayer, the false fear vanishes and the heart attains satisfaction and peace.

A'uzu billahi minashaitanir rajim

Noor Mowlana Aga Ali Shah Maa Baap has said that if a person says 40 beads of Pir-Shâh and bestows the benefit to the whole Jamat, then He will reward him/her the benefit of building a Darkhana.

Pir refers to the Light of the Holy Prophet and Shah refers to the Light of Hazrat Ali. At present, NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam holds the rank of Shah and Pir. Therefore, this tasbi is equivalent to Yâ Muhammad, Yâ Ali.
