Prayer Card No. 9: Allâhu Akbar, Subhan Allâh, Al-hamdu Lillâh and Pir-Shâh Tasbis

Ya Ali Madad. Let us first declare our noble intentions and then say the prayers.

Ya NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam, we pray for:

  1. The well being of the NOORANI Family
  2. Mushkil Asaan for the global Jamat
  3. Material, spiritual & intellectual upliftment of the global Jamat
  4. Salvation of all departed souls
  5. Peace for the whole humanity
  6. (Please add your personal list here, if you wish)

The background of the prayer of Hazrat Bibi Fatimat-az-Zahra, Khatun-i-Jannat ('Alayhi-s-salam) is:

"Abu Huraira said that when Fatima went to the Prophet and asked him for a servant, he said, "Let me guide you to something which is better than a servant. You should say 'Glory be to God' (Subhan Allâh) thirty-three times, 'Praise be to God' (Al-Hamdu Lillâh) thirty-three times, and 'God is most great' (Allâhu Akbar) thirty-four times at each time of prayer and when you go to bed." [Source: Mishkat al Masabih Vol. I, p. 507-508]

For today's session, let us use a bouquet of Allâhu Akbar, Subhan Allâh, Al-hamdu Lillâh and Pir-Shâh Tasbis to pray for upliftment here and in the hereafter.

Noor Mowlana Aga Ali Shah Maa Baap has said that if a person says 40 beads of Pir-Shâh and bestows the benefit to the whole Jamat, then He will reward him/her the benefit of building a Darkhana.

Pir refers to the Light of the Holy Prophet and Shah refers to the Light of Hazrat Ali. At present, NOOR Mowlana Hazir Imam holds the rank of Shah and Pir. Therefore, this tasbi is equivalent to Yâ Muhammad, Yâ Ali.
