Our Approach to Create Educational Resources:

Welcome to SalmanSpiritual.com. This website is dedicated to integrate knowledge of higher spiritual enlightenment from various strands of the Tariqah of Shia Ismaili Islam which originated from the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia. Today, the Ismaili diaspora has a global reach. In order to bring the global Ismaili community closer, the teaching method that I have used is very simple: Introduce knowledge from each Ismaili strand and integrate it in each post. Thus, one learns new knowledge in context of one's own background. The key is to provide gems of knowledge and wisdom in small doses over a long period of time because what is learned needs to be practiced and actualized. Secondly, it is also necessary to bring forward the knowledge generated by the broader Muslim community so that their approaches may also be understood.

In the posts that have been created over the past 20 years, a sustained effort has been made to integrate knowledge from the Holy Qur'an and Ahadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.) with the teachings of Noor Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.) and chain of Ismaili Imams till the present time, the great Dais and Pirs of the Ismaili Tariqah; teachings of great spiritual masters such as the Greatest Shaykh, Ibn al-'Arabi; Rumi, Attar; and writings of modern scholars such as William Chittick, Annemarie Schimmel, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Leonard Lewisohn, the scholars at the Institute of Ismaili Studies, and many others.
