Part 1: Recitation of Anant Akhado
On the fourth day of the project, we will be reciting verses 38 to 50 of Anant Akhado. The hyperlink given below will lead you to all the verses and their literal meaning for today's recitation.
The gist of verse 41 is: (Pir) Hasan Kabirdin first spun the cotton like substance. The days of mercy began and he started his araj (supplications) and bandagi (meditation). This process continued for 6 months and 6 days. It was during this time of intense prayer that the 500 verses of Anant Akhado and 90 verses of Anant Naa Nav Chhuga were inspired to Hasan Kabirdin, the son of Pir Sadardin. The drama of presenting the turban to the Holy Imam and his appointment as a Pir is described in verses 43 to 50.
Âshâji | trakali upar sutraja kâ(n)tiyâ anê din huvâ rahêmânji araj ba(n)dagi usmâ(n)he kidhi sohi tamê radayamâ(n)hê âno |
