The Chief of the Ladies of Paradise: Hazrat Bibi Fatimat-az-Zahra, Khatun-i-Jannat ('Alayhi-s-salam)
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Ya Ali Madad! We celebrate Mother's Day every year. On this occasion, let us all remember our beloved mothers whether they are physically alive in this world or eternally alive in the first (next) world. Also, let us also remember great women (and mothers) who have the rank of greatest superiority over all women in paradise.
Knowledge Section:
Let us begin by reflecting on the following quotations:
|
(I) Ta'wil of word 'Fatimah' (Chief of the Ladies of the Believers):
"The holy Prophet said to Hazrat Fatimah: "Are you not happy that you are the chief of the ladies of the worlds." Fatimah said: My dear father, where is Maryam? He said: She is the chief of the ladies of her time and you are the chief of the ladies of your time and your husband is the chief in this world and in the next." (al-Isti'ab, II, 750)" [Source: Tawil 644: A Thousand Wisdoms] (II) Ta'wil of word 'Fatimah' (Chief of the Ladies of Paradise):
"Once the holy Prophet drew four lines on the ground and asked the people: "Do you know what this is? They said: God and His Prophet know better. They are Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad; Khadijah, daughter of Khuwaylid; Maryam, daughter of Imraan; and Asiyaah, daughter of Mazaahim (wife of Pharoah). They have the greatest superiority over the ladies of paradise." (al-Isti'ab, II, 750)" [Source: Tawil 645: A Thousand Wisdoms] |
