Towards the Inner Vision of the Truth

Gem No. 2: Search for Enlightenment Through the Right Spiritual Contact
Ya Ali Madad! This post has five parts.
Part 1. Knowledge Section on Bandagi:
The practice of bandagi, a luminous prayer at a luminous time with a luminous word, is a key component of a thinking and a spiritual Islam as articulated by NOOR Mowlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.). Murids in search of enlightenment, salvation and eternal existence have always practiced bandagi (Ibadat) in the small watches of the night. This theme appears in all our literature spanning a period of 1400 years. I have would like to present two excerpts to support these fundamental concepts:
In his message to students in Bombay, NOOR Mowlana Shah Sultan Muhammad Shah Al-Husayni (a.s.) explained about the fundamental principle of our Holy faith:
"... While the material conditions of life change, the spiritual conditions which are not only limited to this life but go beyond, are based on one fundamental principle, namely search for enlightenment by the right spiritual contact with the light of your holy faith."(Source: Precious Pearls. No. 43)
In Pandiyat-i Jawanmardi, Imam NOOR Mowlana Shah Mustansir bi'l-laah II (a.s.) teaches us about light and eternal existence:
"Whoever treats himself as something (important) in this world, being sure of his own (important) existence, will become non-existent (non-entity); will be deprived of a share of existence. Man (by himself) is neither extant nor non-existent, neither light or darkness. If the Imam, who possesses association (with God, walayat), helps him, he becomes endowed with being and light. But if he does not recognize (the Imam) from a (false) sense of security, and does not swear allegiance to the Imam of the time, he will become non-existent and dark."(Source: Pandiyat-i Jawanmardi translated text, pp. 62-63)
Part 2. Dhikr Section:
On the occasion of the upcoming Diamond Jubilee, let us listen to the dhikr track which invokes the power, grace, and help from the Light of Eternal Ali which is present in our present and living Imam, Noor Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam (a.s.)
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya Ali, Mowla Ali;
O Light of Eternal Ali, O Noor Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam
Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!
Part 3. Anant Nâ Nav Chhugâ Verses (Chhugo Number 1, verses 6 to 10):

| Oh Lord | A turban of nine tassels only has been folded and it has been done by the (devoted) housewife Now put on the turban, Oh the Protector King the one that has been brought by your wife Hari You are eternal; ........................ |

| Oh Lord | By continuously spinning the cotton-like substance, I have come to know the husband (the Lord) I as Your young unmarried woman The woman whom the Lord transformed through His (merciful) vision (sight) - married spiritually and gave eternal salvation Hari You are eternal; ........................ |

| Oh Lord | When the (devoted) woman got her Husband (the Lord) she became the manifestation of the Pir (Nur-e-Nabuwwah) If you adore that Husband you will indeed cross over the limits of material existence and achieve the eternal salvation Hari You are eternal; ........................ |

| Āshāji | Pir Hasan Kabirdin ginānaj bolyā tēnu(n) nav chhugānu(n) vistārji ginān vichāri virā tamē chāljo to pāmo vaiku(n)th thām

| Oh Lord | Pir Hasan Kabirdin has spoken only about the Divine knowledge and wisdom (and nothing else) It is a composition of nine tassels Conduct yourselves by reflecting upon the ginaans then you will achieve the abode of paradise Hari You are eternal; ........................ |

Part 4. Angelic Salwat
Let us recite angelic salwats to invoke Divine grace and mercy.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Allâhumâ salli alâ Muhammadin wa âle Muhammad:
O Allah! Bestow Peace on and through Muhammad and his Descendants
or
Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!
Part 5. Global Prayers and Three Grand Aspirations
Through the barakat of spiritual knowledge, tasbis and angelic salwat by many individuals of the global Jamat,
